When we think about the integrity of a structure, don't we instinctively consider the foundation - or core? The same is true for the human body. It can only be as strong as it's foundation. The core.
Training the muscles of the core helps correct postural imbalances that can lead to injuries. The biggest benefit of core training is to develop functional fitness—the type of fitness that is essential to daily living and regular activities.
In my experience, the most common cause of back injuries is a lack of core strength or conditioning. By establishing a good, solid foundation, you will be more capable of engaging not only in more challenging training. You will be more capable of living your best life!! Activities like picking up your children or grandchildren, going for walks with your partner, golfing, maybe even riding a bike again!!
In the future, I will be posting a variety of training routines that can be used at home. The initial focus of my training videos will be on core training. I hope you find them useful!!!
