World Class Positivity - Looking In The Mirror
It is easier to wake up early and work out
than it is to
look in the mirror each day and not like what you see
Being blessed with a flexible schedule, I don’t wake up early to work out. But, on my training days I do wake up with an INTENTION and a FOCUS on my training. My schedule allows me to enjoy my coffee, not gulp it down, and plan my workout. Every nuance of it. And get some fuel in my body for what I am about to subject it to. Then, I train. As if the World Championships are right around the corner - even though all competitions have effectively been postponed/cancelled. Then, throughout the day I feel good. I can pass a mirror without regret. And that makes all the pain worth it.
By the way, this applies not only to “working out”. It applies to any goal you have set for yourself. It you make honest progress towards your goal each day you, too, can look in the mirror without regret.
